Lê Phổ (1895-1937)

- Le Pho was born in Cu Loc village, Nhan Chinh commune, Tu Liem district, Hoai Duc district, Ha Dong province, later Hoan Long district, (now in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi).

- He was admitted to the 1st course of the Indochina School of Fine Arts (1925-1930).

- In his paintings, the characteristics of Vietnam and East Asia are shown through the drawings of women in harmony with nature and children. Another familiar subject are images of flowers.
