Đặng Xuân Hoà (1959)

- Born in 1959 in Nam Dinh province.

- He graduated from Hanoi College of Fine Arts in 1983.

- He was a former member of 'Gang of Five' - a group of young artists that rose to prominence during post ‘Doi Moi’ Vietnam who challenged huge censorship problems in Vietnam, re-introduced abstraction and other experimentations to Vietnamese modern art. The group members includes Dang Xuan Hoa; Ha Tri Hieu, Tran Luong, Pham Quang Vinh and Hong Viet Dung.
