Women have always been a topic of endless inspiration in literature, poetry and art. In Vietnam, the 20th day of every October is dedicated to a special day called “Vietnamese Women's Day” - a joyful occasion for women of the nation.
In preparation of this date, Quang San Art Museum is pleased to introduce our next title for the thematic corner of October: "VIETNAMESE WOMEN" - in hope to champion the role of women and their silent contributions to the country, family and society.
The artworks for this month's thematic exhibition range from year 1940 to year 2021, with a variety of mediums from sketches, lacquer, oil painting, wood carving, bronze statues,... of famous artists including To Ngoc Van, Tran Van Can, Duong Bich Lien, Luong Xuan Nhi,...; by that, the viewers can see multi-angle perspectives of artists on Women changed over time.
