- Le Thi Kim Bach was born in 1938 in TanAn/LongAn into a family rich in revolutionary tradition, originating from Hoc Mon, old Gia Dinh province (before 1975).

- Graduated from the oil painting department (Kiev National University of Fine Arts, Soviet Union) and is considered as one of the leading portrait painters in Vietnam.
