This July, we are pleased to invite the public to explore a group exhibition at the QS ART SPACE named "STATION". The exhibition displays 40 works with diverse mediums by a group of contemporary Vietnamese artists including Nguyen Xuan Hoang, Le Thi Minh Tam, Nguyen Hien, Nguyen Phan Bach, Nguyen Huu Thong and Le Ba Cau.
Focusing on exploring deeper the methods and practices of contemporary Vietnamese artists, the journey in each artwork begins with interaction with nature, people, and culture in new places. These rich experiences bring inspiration, creative solutions, and unique ideas to the artists. With exchanges and sharing of creative inspiration and artistic perspectives from the artists, we will gain a more detailed understanding of the artistic journey and the formation process of their works.
Through the story of “STATION", it is a journey full of excitement and emotion on each train STATION, making us think about the speed and level of movement. How each train journey has its own space and communal space, each carriage has a different view, all the journeys and daily activities on the road are born to connect the stations.
“STATION" becomes an essential part of the path to connect the carriages in the next journey, similar to how you watch a long train for a few minutes or more, then recall the visual images and the collision of emotions before it disappears.
